Bridge of Hope Church stands at a powerful milestone—three years of faithfully pouring hope, love, and tangible support into the Hickory Hill community. Rooted in its mission to be “a family united by love, community, and faith,” the church has become a vibrant force for spiritual growth and neighborhood uplift. From sponsoring health and wellness fairs with more than a dozen partnering organizations, to feeding hundreds of families, to providing backpacks, school supplies, and free haircuts for local children, Bridge of Hope has embodied its promise that “Hope Happens Here.” With over 25 outreach programs launched in just three years and a commitment to making every person feel seen, valued, and supported, the church continues to shine as a beacon of compassion and community transformation in Memphis.

On Saturday, March 16th, 2024 the BOHC sponsored a day of hope at the Residence At the Village Green Apartments.  70 families came out to hear a gospel message, food, games, and fellowship. What a wonderful time of community togetherness.

On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the Bridge of Hope Church sponsored a health and wellness fair at the Hickory Hill Community Center. We were joined by 16 healthcare organizations, along with church volunteers

On Saturday July 27, 2024, The Bridge Of Hope Church gave away backpacks and school supplies to over 200 kids, along with free haircuts for boys and girls at the Hickory Hill Community Center.

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, The Bridge of Hope Church served 150 families for the Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway at the Hickory Hill Community Center.

Thanksgiving Outreach Event Turkey Giveaway

November 22, 2025

Last year we supported over 200 households.  The purpose of this event is to give a turkey to needy families and to show the love of Jesus Christ.
